These notes provide extra details to help you plan your hike. Conditions in Sabino Canyon can change quickly—creek crossings may be wet or dry depending on the season, and temperatures vary with elevation. Always carry water, watch for wildlife, and check trail updates before heading out.

- Route to Seven Falls, spur trail to Thimble Peak, & the Arizona Trail.
- To avoid crowds during the busy season head out near sunrise. Crowds start filtering in at about 9am.
- Seven Falls along this route does not flow year-round
- Pay attention to the weather during monsoon season or any time there is heavy preciptation or snow melt. As the Sabino Creek heading up, and Bear Creek that runs along side Bear Canyon Trail can be uncrossable.
- Does this really need to be said? LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME. Not only does Sabino Canyon prohibit dogs, but most of Bear Canyon is a Wilderness Area.
